Abingdon & Witney College have an exciting new opportunity for an outstanding and enthusiastic Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering, to join our highly successful team.
This is an ideal position for an ex-toolmaker and is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your technical and specialist skills to the next generation of engineering industry professionals.
You may have a recognised teaching qualification and be experienced at delivering L3 engineering apprenticeships including Performing Engineering Operations (PEO or equivalent). Ideally you will have an Assessor qualification or be willing to train.
However, we are also very keen for individuals from industry to apply, as for an exceptional candidate we can offer excellent teacher training and support you in achieving your Level 3 Award in Education & Training (AET).
Our team are looking for someone who will strive to maintain outstanding success rates in all areas, using innovation within your teaching and assessing, utilising e-learning opportunities where appropriate. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator and have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to demonstrate a wide range of both academic and practical skills.
