Salary: £19,408 - £20,147 (A17 – A20)
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the existing outstanding team in Equine to lead the commercial and events team in the planning, preparation and delivery of a broad array of equestrian events in order to raise the profile of the department and meet set income targets. You will be expected to explore and develop new income streams and commercial opportunities for the department and drive them to successful outcomes and also to ensure a high quality experience is consistently delivered to all customers.
You will be expected to work closely with students, stakeholders and members of the public to contribute towards high quality, effective and relevant learning experiences that are appropriate to the needs of individual students, as well as assisting in the delivery of high quality affiliated and unaffiliated competitions and a range of commercial events and activities. You will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, which will include regular weekend and some evening work and support outstanding student experience, marketing opportunities and industry engagement and provide high standards of customer service to ensure excellent levels of satisfaction.
Ideally, you will possess a minimum Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent industry experience, BHS Stage 3 coach qualification is desirable and Level 2 Maths & English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.
