We are seeking enthusiastic and inspirational instructors to join our Agriculture team. The post holder will be part of our experienced team and will be responsible for instructing on practical elements of the Agriculture curriculum from Level 1 to 3. The department has dedicated facilities and machinery, workshop resources, classrooms and access to digital technology. The successful candidate will possess relevant professional an industry experience. A desire to inspire young people to achieve their goals in the agriculture sector is essential. Sessional staff hours are flexible and fit around availability and timetabling.

Suitable candidates should have the following:

Essential:
- Level 3 or higher qualification in Agriculture and/or Landbased/Agricultural Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the sector
- Recognised teaching qualification or willingness to undertake teacher training
- GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths and English or equivalent
- Ability to apply working knowledge of theory and practical to a teaching environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Well organised and able to work under pressure

Desirable:
- Good knowledge of Landbased machinery
- Previous teaching/training experience
- D1 minibus licence
- Previous assessing skills/qualifications
- Specialist welding skills
- Recent manufacturers product training

This post is based at the Sparsholt campus.
