An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Teacher to join our highly successful Level 1 and 2 Animal care team at Broomfield Hall.

You will be required to deliver high quality, inspirational teaching which encourages learners to reach their full potential, promoting progression on to higher level courses or preparing them for careers working with animals. The role will require you to deliver mainly the theory aspects of the animal care curriculum across Entry and levels 1 & 2. Someone with a strong background in teaching animal husbandry, health and behaviour would be very desirable.

As part of the Animal Care team, you will be required to participate in the resourcing and preparation of the course delivery and assessment, undertake course administration including setting and reviewing academic targets with learners.

You will take an active part in course related trips and visits, recruitment of learners and supporting the work experience that learners undertake as part of their course as well as ensuring that all college and awarding body standards are met.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of providing outstanding support for learners and be flexible, self-motivated and dedicated to student achievement and quality. Up to date knowledge and experience of animal husbandry including the handling, feeding and behaviour of animals is essential. Experience of delivering the C&G Level 1 and 2 in Animal care is desirable.
